The Spaulding Method of learning is a method that was designed to teach music from an expressive point of view.  As what was once spoken from our visionary Damian Spaulding at the inception of our school, "The piano is my canvas, my fingers my brush, my soul paints the picture", music and dance are two incredible ways of expressing one's self that requires little thought and often no words.  These universal tongues can be heard clearly across our planet with little division of race and culture.  It is from this foundational stance that we have developed the Spaulding School of Dance approaches found within.

We start first with the expression of self because we know that if a student embraces that expression, the rest of the art of dance becomes natural and second nature.  From here you can learn anything.
